3v3 DotA Tournament - Oct. 18, 2008

Eudemonia is proud to present our brand-new tournament series! We're kicking it off with a local 3v3 DotA tournament on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008. Registration is open!!!! Clicking the link will take you to the iGames website, which has a handy tool for registering your team for our tournament. You'll all need to create accounts with iGames (which is useful, because you'll need them to play in DotA game nights in the future, as well as participate in official iGames promotions). On the day of the tournament, gamer check-in will begin at 10am. The tournament proper will start at 11am and go until whenever we're done. We estimate that it'll take about six hours. Format Version: 6.52e (the latest stable version) Mode: -rd Limited to 8 teams, so pre-register now! First 8 teams to pay get to play!!! Swiss (modified pool play/round robin). Rules No blocking. FAQ Q. May I bring my own equipment? A. Yes, you may bring your own headset, mouse, keyboard, seat cushion, stress ball, and jet pack. Assuming your gear doesn't require special drivers, you'll have to set it up yourself, and after you're done, you'll have to return our game stations back to their original state with all of our gear plugged in. You'll be responsible for looking after your own gear, of course--don't leave it lying around! Please give Judy a heads-up if you're going to bring any gaming gear. Q. May I bring my own computer? A. Yes, but only if you register and pre-pay for the tournament. When you're paying, let Judy know that you're bringing your own computer or laptop, and she'll set up a BYOC station for you. Q. Why 3v3? A. We're keeping it local in October. Ramping up the interest, you know =) We are planning a bigger 5v5 DotA tourney for November. Q. I've got other questions! A.
