Yes yes...Even though source is the newer version of Counter-Strike ... doesn't mean it's better... You and I both know you've lost a lot of customers because you converted the server into a (Counter-strike:Source) Server... graphics are something .. but gameplay is another thing... Remember... this is just a suggestion but if you hope to have any more people to PLAY on your server ... then I suggest you turn this server back into a (Counter-strike 1.6) server

OK yea i really have to agree on BoBo with this one. Source may have better graphics but the gameplay of the original blows source out of the water. Even though i live in new york, i look at your server and it always empty.. You must be losing business. Trust me get the original back and youll get customers back. I=That was the only server i ever play on. When you changed it i quit counter strike. Get it back the way it was. Much better.

yeah, I used to play on the server a lot.. had admin on it too, but once it turned source.. I just said "ha screw it.." but yeah you said something potato that i did find interesting.. before you guys converted, at least 60% of the people who attended the EU lan center, actually played on the server. Yeah sure, most of them might have been kids.. but yeah, I wouldn't mind having a bunch of pesky 10-15 year olds in my store as long as I was getting paid. But seriously, I've hung around since?? late februrary of last year I'd love to continue sticking around.. but frankly, I just can't stand source.. and won't have anything to do with it.

Actually, the server was swapped over to Source because nobody was playing on the 1.6 server anymore. The few people who still play 1.6 in the store mostly play on surfing maps or servers with superhero mods and all that nonsense, so there isn't really any local demand for a competitive 1.6 server either. We considered swapping the server over to Battlefield 2, but it's not likely it would see much use as it wouldn't be officially ranked. It's more likely that we'll swap it over to Day of Defeat: Source or some other game entirely, as the demand for CS has gone down significantly and has been replaced with other games.

I always saw people playing on the 1.6 server. Anyway u should just try changing its back to 1.6 if it doesnt work then by all means make it DOD:S. But i think if u make its CS 1.6 youll get more business then if u dont make it DOD:S. I mean like BoBo said most of the people there played on the server.

well, i can't agree with eddie, or disagree with him at that.. i've never gone to the lan center myself being the fact that I live in Los Angeles, and it would kind of be reckless of myself to drive out there just to go play counter-strike hehe. I just recall a lot of people telling me they played at the lan center so it's all up to you eddie, Oh and.. I do think you're on to something with Day of Defeat : Source. I don't have it on my steam account, but whenever i go over to my cousin's house, it is pretty fun. One of these days i'll get around to buying it.. I already have the [BRONZE] edition.. 10 dollars more for [SILVER], I think it's worth it.. But whatever you guys decide to do, you have my full support hehe, not that it counts. =)
