he, i go every week, to both proxie and sanctioned .but rarely we have enough people to start. i think we have to have a big tourney once a month , and put up better prizes like mox's and stuff. i keep thinking , why eudemonia doesnt do this because last time they had a big tourney many people came so why not hold one once a month. anythings better than 5$ entry, 20$, 10$, 5$, 5$.

This may seem a little crazy, but what if eudemonia did what the other big stores do in the bay area when a prerelease comes around? They all move their good cards, supplies, packs boxes, etc and then they take em down to palo alto and set up shop next to superstars and C&Js? Its worth a shot... Theres alot of people at the prereleases, It would make the store more popular, which may then bring in a bigger crowd... And while they are there they can have a whiteboard with all of the tournaments that they hold, and entry fees etc. Just a suggestion..

I think we had planned to do something like that for the Final Dawn pre-release, and if my memory serves correct we thought about doing something like that for the darksteel pre-release, but were just too un-organized, or something, so we just held the post-pre-release-lease thingie here at eud. I do agree though, we should do that, spread the eudemonia seed, so to say

The bigest problem for the type1, everyone would agree, is there arnt enough people. (duh) To solve this we just need to get the word out that it is going on, few people know about it. if you advertise it more maybe we would get the T1 going. put up posters at BHS (get wishnoff to do it ) or advertise it online more somehow. there are about 10 or 12 T1 turny players but they never show up at the same time. its like they alternate weekends. 10 or 12 is not that many to hold a steady turny. my post is kinda a duh post but i think it would help alot

publicity does rock, especially when you have massive amounts of players coming from around the bay on bart to just come to FNM like I do.. Eudemonia needs a publicist..

I'm a complete newbie from Sac, and I plan on making it this Sunday with at least one friend. I'm just getting back into magic and really only have an interest in type 1 at this point and as far as I know Sacramento is utterly devoid of a T1 scene. So I may end up a regular at the type 1 tournaments if I have a good time this Sunday.
For what's worth, I like the idea of trying to pull together a bigger crowd once a month or so. I'd be willing to make the drive to Berkley once or twice a month at the most, and the bigger the turnout the better.
