Sometime this month we intend to start a customer rewards program. Right now, it looks like the program will look like this:
------------------------------------------------- Eudemonia Customer Rewards Program
To encourage our regular customers, we intend to implement the following rewards system. To participate, a customer needs to have an account in the computer at the front counter. Any customer who has store credit should already have an account like this. Note that this is not a cybercafe account, if you have a cybercafe account, it does not guarantee that you have an Eudemonia customer account. It would be helpful for to know your customer number for this system.
The way it works is, the computer tracks how much you spend. Each month, if you spend over $100, you will get a reward based on how much you spend. The rewards will be as follows:
$100 - Choice of 3 computer hours, 2 booster packs, or $5 store credit. $150 - Choice of 6 computer hours, 4 booster packs, or $10 store credit $200 - Choice of 10 computer hours, 7 booster packs, or $15 store credit
For the purposes of reward calculations, only things you buy with cash or credit card counts. Buying things with store credit or trade doesn't count towards your total for rewards.
----------------------------------------------
If you have an comments or suggestions, think it's a bad or good idea, please post your thoughts.

its really easy to spend $50 here in one setting. The point here is you get it if you're a frequent customer. In my opinion, $50 does not fall under frequent customer status.

The store credit option was really only included as a concession for people who don't play CCGs or on the computers - which is kind of the minority. If you buy an hour a day for a month, that's already $100, and that gets you another 3 hours at the end of the month. If you buy a single booster box at retail, you're already almost $100, and you can get 2 extra packs. By the way, Potato, we run our drafts at a LOSS (not too many stores run drafts at $9), and we're not trying to reward people more for playing in drafts, we're trying to get people to spend money on other things.

Ya, $9 a draft is the best price I have ever seen for a magic draft. Not only does that cover the product, there is also prizes to boot. ^_^ Stores in San Francisco has drafts for $15, and the prizes aren't even as good as eudemonia's. So be happy with eudemonia, since it's the best store i have ever been too.

yeah, i guess taht for you guys drafts are a loss-leader, which draw people into the store to buy other things though the drafts themselves lose you money. and BTW, tim, i'm Ryan (the tall, non-judge one).

I know a lot of people who basically spend their lives playing cs at eu. (Alan, Oliver, Gilbert,... everyone part of the united clan, and maybe Roland, the guy that no one knows,). i know for sure that they would really injoy this new program. this will be a great way for eu to make sure that "we" won't loose any business to gLabs.
psh, glabs... hah. How much do they charge, like twice as much? I heard they're having a 2v2 halo tourney on their projector apparently, the problem being that there's ONLY ONE PROJECTOR. And a $10 entry fee per person. So yeah, I'm not too worried about losing business to them.

gLab = goofing-up losers and bastards. They charge 6$ an hour for their supposedly "Top-of-the-line" computers, (which have more games than eudemonia, but the games all suck) 10$ for a half-year membership, 20$ for a yearly membership, and 10$ an hour for Xbox with big screens. Whoop-de-doo. I got three words for them: OUT OF BUSINESS. PROFITS EXTREMELY LOW. I GUESS THIS WAS MORE THAN THREE WORDS. So yeah, don't even rank gLab NEAR eudemonia. Rank it so incredibly low that you will have to dig to see how low it is.

nah, I doubt they'll go out of business, they're right next to campus, and will probly draw more Cal students then us. The thing is, just like we're a different catagory than GoB, gLabs is in a different catagory than us. My point is I'm not particularly worried about them "stealing" business from us, and I wish them the best of luck.
