i've recently been reading up on City of Villains and the PvP they're planning on adding. but the devs never mention how the PvP system is going to work. so i'm interested in hearing everyone's ideas on how it could/should work in their opinion. [Big Grin]

PvP is going to be broken as hell and won't be out for a long time. If I'm still playing CoH by then, I'm not sure if I'll mess with the PvP...

Even the devs said that the PvP is going to be messed up until they can come out with some kind of way to fix it...

I highly doubt blasters will be the end all of PvP. I could see controllers' holds being quite helpful. For instance, with Dark, I'd be able to stay invis, find a blaster, blind it (with 4 acc SOs just in case...), pop PA and phantasm and FR to lower defense and snowstorm in case the blaster woke up and use hurricane to debuff acc/range in case the blaster woke up and use flash to keep it held and blind again to keep it held. If a blaster is still alive after all of that... then PvP is broken =)

However, on the flip side, if I happen to be standing there and don't see the blaster, the blaster could just walk up to me, buildup, aim, and alpha strike me, then ST attack their way to my death before I can do anything.

so it's all going to depend who sees who first... which would make PvP broken as hell =)

Why do I feel like I just wrote a proof? [Confused]
