Ok, so it's actually here, isn't that like a sign of the apocalypse?
Oh well, I'm not going to play it until I'm sure eddie has the system set up right and saved games will actually be there when I log in the next time. No Doom 3 fiasco again for me...

For now the save games stay on the computer you were playing on and don't move with your account until I can get that working properly. You don't really need save games, however, as there are a ton of levels and you can just load up the last map you were on the next time you play. To do this, simply press escape while playing and look in the upper-right corner of the screen to find our what map you're on. Then, the next time you play hit the ~ key to bring up the console and type "map your_map_name" to resume play. So, for example let's say you were on d1_coast_02.bsp, you'd type "map d1_coast_02" (without the quotes) and you'd be set.
