OK. Let me put it like this: Early in the first pack, which common or uncommon noncreature spells are worth taking ahead of the best uncommon creatures?

I didn't say I was thinking of taking the biggest, I said I was thinking of taking the biggest one I thought I could cast. 4CC, maybe 5CC, at most 6CC.

And I said that with that strategy, a fast deck will destroy you. That's still true, especially since the creature I named can go in a pretty fast deck.

I didn't say I was going to draft Boros. My personal draft strategy is 3 or 4-color green. That doesn't make my statement that Boros will destroy your plan of "take the biggest creature I think I'll be able to cast" any less true.

So what are you going to do to deal with the Boros deck?
BTW, there is no nead to talk down to me. I'm just trying to spark an interesting discussion by asking a silly question. Don't assume I'm a newbie who knows nothing about tempo.

The way to deal with the boros deck is to draft creatures for turns 2 and 3. Playing a ridiculously high curve in ANY format is a bad idea, and ravnica is no exception.
